Physical Therapy

Physical Therapists often assess and address the following skills based on functional need identified by the child’s team:
  • Gross motor and motor planning skills
  • Mobility within the school environment & safety and mobility
  • Motor skills in relation to involvement in physical education classes
  • Collaboration with teachers of traditional and Adapted Physical Education classes
  • Environmental adaptations and modifications that will accommodate for deficits identified through assessment
